The studio has released an image of the new Spider-Man in the new Spider-Man costume and at the same time they’ve announced that they are calling the latest version The Amazing Spider-Man.

The Spider-Man franchise definitely needs to distance itself from all the bad publicity the musical has been garnering the past few weeks and this just might be the way to do it. First of all the title is a homage to the original comic book series which is bound to please serious fans.
