Jimmy Kimmel Live! showed Heidi via videolink from her zoo in Leipzig, Germany. The opossum appeared to deliberate over cross-eyed photos taped to golden Oscar statues of each of the five nominees for Best Actress. Well, woop-dee-doo Heidi! Everyone who’s read anything about the Oscar’s knows the actress’s performance was the perfect recipe to pick up the Academy Award. Portman trained for a year, including rigorous ballet and swimming to prepare for Darren Aronofsky’s film, earning her praise from many film critics.
