Conan’s Contest: O’Brien Picks a Winner, Gets New Twitter Bio

Conan O’Brien’s new Twitter bio has been chosen and one Twitter user has just been honored with a bunch of new followers.

The red-headed comedian held a contest where fans could enter their suggestions for his new Twitter bio. O’Brien’s old bio read, “I had a show. Then I had a different show. Now I have a Twitter account.” Which was, okay, but not great. So rather than writing a new, more clever bio himself, he crowd-sourced the task (with the stipulation that any inclusion of the word “lulz” would disqualify a submission).

His website reports that there were “thousands and thousands” of entries, which were quickly narrowed down to four. The final decision was made based on fan votes and 50% of those votes went to one @likover who entered this bio: “The voice of the people. Sorry, people.”

@likover‘s own Twitter feed is pretty funny and definitely worth the follow. After all, this is the guy who’s now funnier than Conan O’Brien.
