Move over, Bristol Palin — actress Kirstie Alley will be just one of many celebrities joining the newest season of Dancing With The Stars.
Last season included names like winner Jennifer Grey and Audrina Patridge, who all shook their stuff in the star-studded dancing competition.

This season’s lineup will include three professional athletes, comedians, and a supermodel, all ready to salsa at the upcoming competition. The show, which typically draws over 15 million viewers a week, is scheduled to return March 21.

Besides Kirstie Alley, other celebrities such as Chris Jericho, Romeo, Kendra Wilkinson and Sugar Ray Leonard all hope to dance their way to the trophy in season 12. Other contestants include Wendy Williams, Chelsea Kane, Ralph Macchio, Hines Ward, Petra Nemcova and Mike Catherwood.
Alley’s aims for herself and her fellow contestants are modest: she feels the focus would be to “try not to fall on our butts the first week out. That’s what I’m going for.”
However, while it was widely expected that ex-Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell would be part of the show, she confirmed on her website Monday that, while honored to be invited, she’s going to put away her dancing shoes, pick up her pen and work on her book. Presumably, she’ll put it down to watch the program, with the rest of America. (via AP)
