Sure, there are lots of things going on in the Middle East. (Check out Global Spin for that news.) But Americans are too busy focusing on Charlie Sheen.
The actor has taken his media circus from broadcast television to a TMZ livestream to, now, Twitter. He first verified his account Tuesday evening, and amassed more than 100,000 followers before he even posted.

His first tweet? Drumroll, please… “Winning..! Choose your Vice… #winning #chooseyourvice,” along with a photo of him and a blonde woman enjoying chocolate milk and a smoothie, respectively. (Perhaps a reference to his advice to “stay off the crack [and] drink a chocolate milk?“) Within minutes, the photo had tens of thousands of views.
With attention like this, things will only get worse for the embattled actor. It’s tough to look away from Sheen’s downward spiral, but giving him more attention is just going to keep him going. So sure, you can choose your vice, but let’s not make reading gossip about Charlie Sheen our vice. (Too late, we suppose.)
