It was bound to happen — fresh from a stint on Dancing with the Stars, Bristol Palin has inked a book deal.

According to a press release from William Morrow, an imprint of book publishers HarperCollins, her book will be called Not Afraid of Life and will cover everything from being a teen mom to getting to the final round on Dancing. Rumors had swirled about a possible book from the eldest daughter of Sarah Palin when a nondescript Amazon pre-order page popped up, though the page was later taken down.

Though NewsFeed would like to see some juicy details about her family and her ex Levi Johnston, we assume the book will stick to the safer stuff. After all, the press release notes the book will touch on her “aspirations for the future and the deep religious faith that gives her strength and inspiration.”

We’d like to be more outraged that someone so young can publish a memoir, but in an age where Justin Bieber has a book out, and The Situation, Snooki and Jwoww from Jersey Shore all have titles on the shelves, this seems fairly highbrow. At least Palin, 20, has some hardship she (and, since she’s a celebrity, her probable ghostwriter) can talk about.
