Gleeks prepare … the Dalton boys are coming.
The Dalton Academy Warblers, the newest arrivals on the hit TV-show Glee, are releasing their very own album under the Glee banner. The album will join the chart topping series albums and extended plays already released by the Glee cast.

Darren Criss, who plays Blaine, Dalton Warbler’s main soloist, announced the news on the Live with Regis and Kelly show on Monday morning. Needless to stay it has caused a frenzy of excitement in the Gleek community. The question only remains as to which of their flawless a capellas will make the cut.
The Warblers first graced our screens with Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” the video of which has over 15 million views on youtube. Then Train’s “Hey, Soul Sister” which was an instant hit, followed by Destiny’s Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills,” Robin Thicke’s “When I Get You Alone” and Wings’ “Silly Love Songs.” In future episodes the boys will give us their version of (look away now, Gleeks) Neon Trees’ “Animal” and Maroon 5’s “Misery.”
Darren Criss has earned his own (not so) little fan club as a result of the show, as have the real-life a cappella group, the “Beelzebubs” from Tufts University, who voice the Warblers. “It’s fun being a Warbler,” said Criss. “It’s kind of like being in our own little show.”

This hotly anticipated album is sure to be a hit, after the group’s cover of “Teenage Dream” topped the Billboard Hot 100 in November, yet one more line on the long list of Glee cast hits. The cast broke the record for most charted songs by a single act in the Hot 100’s 52-year history. With their 113 hits, they surpassed even Elvis Presley himself.
The Warblers’ album will be released in April, hot on the heels of “Glee: The Music, Volume 5” released this month. The Glee tour has gone down a storm and is set to continue at a number of venues across the Glee-loving globe.
