Rest easy, Colonel Sanders. Flavor Flav may not be dominating the fried chicken business anytime soon.
After just four months, the Public Enemy rapper and reality TV star has pulled his name from his fried chicken restaurant in Clinton, Iowa, after cutting ties with his business partner.

Flav and restaurant manager Nick Cimino made headlines in January when they opened Flav’s Fried Chicken together. But now the two are publicly at odds and have exchanged some harsh words.
“I gave [Cimino] permission to take my name and my licence to operate a business,” Flavor Flav told WQAD-TV. “I have to do whatever is possible for me to save my name and that’s to shut the business down because Nick Cimino isn’t running the business right.”
However, Cimino isn’t too happy with Flav, either.
“I started this,” Cimino said. “I put together everything from the menu to the color of the building to the sign. I did everything. What Flav’s doing, he’s a fraud. He doesn’t want to be hurt with the other ventures he’s doing and he wants to become a millionaire off my dime, off my ideas.”
Of course, there are two sides to every story, and it’s definitely hard to get this one straight.
While Flav says the last straw occurred when he heard complaints about employees not getting paid, Cimino says he has a list of complaints about Flav and is glad to be “free of somebody” like him.

However, it doesn’t look like this one rough patch will stop Flav from spreading his name. In fact, “Flavor Flav’s House of Flavor” – an entertainment venue – is rumored to open in Las Vegas soon. And, no, it doesn’t look like Cimino will be a part of the venture.
