The upcoming film on FDR just got a lot more exciting.

What could be more exciting than the cinematic rendering of a weekend in the life of America’s 32nd president, you ask? Well, get ready, because Variety is reporting that the wonderful (and elusive) Bill Murray will be playing Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The movie, called Hyde Park on Hudson, is a historical drama from Focus Features International and recounts the story of a weekend that King George VI and Queen Elizabeth spent at the president’s upstate New York home.

Okay, we know what you’re thinking; this actually sounds really dull. But the plot also includes the emergence of scandalous details of FDR’s private life, like an affair with a cousin.

Plus, Bill Murray! It couldn’t not be awesome. (via Variety)
