Ah, high school.
This week’s Tumblr, “S— My Students Write” chronicles the “Evidence of the true cost of educational funding cuts” by highlighting particular passages written by students. And it’s (hilariously) dismal.

From students’ expositions on Darwin (“Darwin’s theory of natural selection is also known as survival of the fits”) to Shakespeare (“Macbeth couldn’t have loved Lady Macbeth because he was crazy and too busy hallucinating witches and stuff. Also, crazy people can’t do it without going crazy midway through”), you can’t read through this Tumblr without laughing and thinking 1) kids these days, amirite? and 2) how much better your education was back in the day.
