Shirley Sherrod, the former Department of Agriculture employee who lost her job in a tempest over a selectively edited video that showed her making apparently disparaging racial comments, is now back at the USDA albeit in a different capacity.

She will now lead one of three field programs that are intended to improve the relationship between the agency and minority farmers, Politico reported. Sherrod’s program will be the Southwest Georgia Project for Community Education, which she actually co-founded with her husband Charles.

Sherrod, who had been a Georgia director of rural development for the USDA, but was fired after a video surfaced, coming from conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart, showing her making remarks about discriminating against white farmers. After the entire tape was parsed, it turned out her statement were actually about racial reconciliation.

She filed a $13 million lawsuit against Breitbart, who moved for its dismissal. That request is pending in federal court.
