You have to hand it to this Craigslister–this is certainly the silver-lining of people believing in the end of the world.

One gutsy Craigslist user has gotten creative and put a positive spin on the whole “May 21st could be Judgment Day and therefore the end of the world” idea. To put it simply, if you believe the hype, he or she wants your stuff.

This ad was placed on Craigslist on May 12th:

“Are you attending the rapture on May 21st, 2011? I expect to be left behind when it happens, so if you aren’t going to need your worldly possessions; be they money, cars, canned food, durable goods, etc; I would gladly take them off of your hands. Serious responses only, please. And remember, time is short! You can contact me by replying to this ad. I live in Ronkonkoma, But I’m willing to travel for said goods.”

Honestly, there isn’t anything that NewsFeed doesn’t love about this–it’s a smart, scrappy plan that will likely result in a surplus of furniture. Slow clap for this one.
