While most people that NewsFeed associates with found Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding hat particularly hideous, you might be the type that goes for that sort of look. You also might be the type that has a spare thirty grand lying around. If so, this monstrosity can be yours!

The Princess is auctioning off her fascinator for charity on eBay, with the money going to UNICEF and Children in Crisis. Either we’ve seriously underestimated this hat’s allure or people are feeling charitable–the bidding has already surpassed $29,000.
But, all joking aside, we’re pleased that Princess Beatrice is using her “gravity defying hat” for a good cause. We’d also kill for photos of the highest bidder wearing this thing out and about. (via NYmag.com)
