There’s nothing more pleasing to a 15-year-old than a 6:30 a.m. wake-up call. And this one comes straight from their high school.

Have trouble getting up and at ‘em? Around 250 students at Marshalltown High School, in Marshalltown, Iowa, will be getting a nice little reminder bright and early each morning. Maybe students will thank the principal for not having to dash after the bus or having to frantically cut through streets to head off the bus at the last few stops? (Wow, that brings back memories.)

The school is targeting tardy students who’ve been late five times or more since March. Parents will have the option of taking their kids on or off the list, even if it just may become one more alarm to hit the snooze button on.
