It seems like the hopes of millions of men across the country could become a reality.

Emily Maynard, winner of the last season of The Bachelor and current leading lady of Bentley Williams’s dreams, is reportedly in talks with ABC to become the next Bachelorette. Despite being an early favorite and the eventual chosen one of Bachelor Brad Womack, the two recently split up and Us Weekly is reporting that according to a “source,” Maynard’s foray into Bachelorette territory is pretty much a “done deal”.

So how likely is it that this source is speaking the truth? In the past single mom Maynard has said that appearing on the show again is the last thing on her mind. But then again, US Weekly‘s chatty source insists that Maynard wants to parlay her fame into a broadcast career, which would be the standard train of thought we’ve come to expect from most reality show contestants. If we had to put money on it, we’d be saying welcome back to Bachelorette-ville, Em. (via US Weekly)
