The latest Beastie Boys video features Santigold and was directed by Spike Jonze. How could it not be awesome?

The song “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win” is one of the highlights off the Beastie’s latest album, Hot Sauce Committee, Part 2. (It also happens to be their summer single.) The video premiered Monday and true to the Beastie name, it’s action-packed and super goofy.

The video recasts the Beastie Boys and Santigold — who sings the chorus on the track — as dolls, preforming at an outdoor concert. Trouble starts, however, when military-esque dolls stake out and attack the show, shooting the Boys and Santigold off the stage. The Boys escape into the snow-covered wilderness, where a shootout wounds MCA. As Mike D and Ad-Rock surround their fallen friend, the bad guys turn truly evil as they morph into zombies and close in on the Boys.

It’s silly, it’s ridiculous, it’s directed by Spike Jonze and it’s true Beastie style — what more could you want? NewsFeed thinks that more videos should feature toys, not to mention Santigold. (via Funny or Die)
