It would certainly add a, you know, star to the rumored line-up.
TMZ is reporting that the Oscar-nominated actress will be appearing as a contestant on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars, a show that’s been mocked as of late for boasting casts that only fill loosest interpretation of the word “star.” And if Queen Latifah does end up sashaying her way across that stage, she’ll definitely be to starriest of the show’s stars.
Out of all the rumored contestants, only Jersey Shore‘s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi comes even close to touching Queen Latifah in fame. But when it comes to Rob Kardashian (who we couldn’t even pick out of a line-up), Tiffani Amber Thiessen (who we haven’t paid attention to since Saved By The Bell) and Hills-alum Kristin Cavallari (whose only discernible talent is causing drama, and Dancing just isn’t that kind of show) the rest of cast sounds about on par with previous seasons.
