If it’s been too long since Woody hung up his hat in Toy Story 3, don’t fear. Pixar has a few projects in the pipeline, and they involve all of those radically awesome things like dinosaurs and the stuff spewing around in your brain.

The studio announced two new projects at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif., which is a three-day fan event related to all things Walt Disney. The studio uses the event to often announce new films in the works. There aren’t many details about the new films, but the news was greeted warmly by its attendees.

The first one, which is being called The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dinosaurs for the moment, is slated for a Christmas 2013 release. While it’s going to be a bit of a wait until then, the film will be about dinosaurs – as in, if they had never vanished. There have been photos of a human boy and his pet dino circulating around the Internet, but not much else is known. Bob Peterson, who was nominated for his screenwriting for Up and Finding Nemo, is directing the flick.

The second project, which is being directed by Pete Docter, also responsible for Up, is set inside the human mind. The untitled film is going to explain how the brain works, though in a humorous way, according to the production studio. Empire magazine says it is being tentatively scheduled for release in 2014, sometime in the summer.
