Master of Imitation: Joseph Gordon-Levitt Covers Nirvana and More

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a man of many talents. (Well, at least two.)

The Inception and 500 Days of Summer actor also has a music collaboration website called hitRECord.org that he tours around promoting. And at an event in Seattle last Tuesday night, he flexed his musical muscle with a pretty decent cover of Nirvana’s “Lithium.” (Warning: The video contains possible offensive language.)

But the Seattle performance wasn’t a first; Gordon-Levitt has covered loads of songs while promoting his project. (And, unfortunately, he usually prefaces each cover with the same spiel about doing something “just for tonight.”) Here are some of our favorites:
