This is the celebrity baby news to beat all baby news.

Ever the PR-master, Beyoncé made the big reveal on the red, er, black carpet before the event without even saying a word. Dressed in a Lanvin gown, the singer simply clasped her belly in the universal move for “I’ve got a bun in the oven” before she entered the Nokia Theater L.A. Live.

Later, as she warmed up the crowd for her performance for “Love on Top,” Beyoncé shouted to the crowd, “I want you to stand up on your feet. I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside me.” And as she finished the song, she dropped the mic, pulled open her sequined tuxedo jacket and again rubbed her belly, as husband Jay-Z looked on, dancing and clapping.

And while everyone seems to be over-the-moon ecstatic for the celebrity couple, baby Z could already be throwing a wrench in the Hollywood machine; reportedly, Beyoncé’s pregnancy will put a delay on filming of the Clint Eastwood remake of “A Star is Born” which will star the mama-to-be. Deadline reports that Eastwood was hoping to begin shooting in February. We’re sure Eastwood would understand, however, especially considering the film’s title. After all, if there was ever a child destined to be a star, it’d definitely be the spawn of Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
