Two pint-sized pop fans got the surprise of their (childhood) lifetimes yesterday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Sophia Grace Brownlee, a wee British girl in an adorable pink tutu, became a Youtube superstar last month for her rousing performance of Nicki Minaj’s song “Super Bass.”

Brownlee, 8, sang and danced next to her equally precious cousin Rosie, 5, in the video, which has nearly eight million views.

DeGeneres hosted the twosome on her Wednesday show. Clad in their signature pink tutus and sparkly tiaras, they performed the song (the clean version, of course) and divulged their love for Minaj before DeGeneres caused the shriek heard around the world by bringing Minaj herself onto the stage.

As for Minaj, she told the English girls that she was “blown away” when she saw their video.

“Within five seconds of seeing [her] video, I was calling everyone! I was also receiving a billion emails,” she said. “Everyone was like, ‘You have to see this little girl.'”

Minaj also told the girls to stay in school: “Put your books first and singing second.”

The only thing more adorable than Sophia Grace leaping into the pop star’s arms? Seeing her mother hand her weeping father a tissue in the audience.
