The Lingerie Football League is hoping a little bit of celebrity can help get its youth division off the ground. That is, unless grandma has something to say about it.

After announcing last week its intentions to start a youth division, reports have surfaced that the Lingerie Football League has reached out to Michael Jackson’s 13-year-old daughter Paris about becoming its official spokesperson.

According to TMZ, the LFL became interested in Paris after she became the first female to ever join the flag football team at her exclusive private school. In a letter addressed to the Jackson estate, league founder Mitchell Mortaza said, “We at the LFL would like to invite Paris to become the spokesperson for the LFL’s youth program and perhaps start training for a future football career in the LFL when she reaches the age of 18 years old.”

For those readers who are unaware of the Lingerie Football League’s, um… charms, games consists of teams of seven women wearing nothing more than bras and short shorts playing tackle football in front of a live (and we assume mostly male) audience. Let’s just say it resembles something you might see at a frat party.

While the thought of creating a division of lingerie football for youth girls is unbelievably disturbing, the league maintains that the young players will remain fully clothed, of course — at least until they can legally join the adult teams. They also claim that the youth division will fill a void for young girls who are interested in pursuing football as a sport.

We’re all for getting kids active, but we have a feeling that the Jackson family matriarch, Katherine, will be less than thrilled with Paris’ invitation from the LFL, and that the league will be hearing renditions of “Beat It” on repeat in response.
