The secret to success? Kangol hats, snazzy glasses and a big acting break at age 41.

Samuel L. Jackson is the highest-grossing actor of all time, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. The 100+ movies he has made in his career have grossed more than $7.4 billion in total.

His title as such may come across as something of a surprise, but he owes much of his fortune to his supporting roles in blockbusters like Jurassic Park ($914 million) and the Star Wars prequels ($2.4 billion), in addition to his lead role in Pulp Fiction ($212 million).

Jackson, 63, doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, either. He will have been in seven films by the end of this year and has three slated for release in 2012.
