We’re not entirely sure how lovebirds correlate to athletics, but the inspiration here is spot on. For this piece, which she describes as a “love letter,” Emin took the Paralympic values of determination and inspiration to create a work that is simply expressive, but carries her unique artistic vision — even if it doesn’t technically have anything to do with sports.
