Every big-name football program has a large student following, but not every one of them names that following after the coach. In 1993, the school changed the rules so that the stadium’s student seating section was a first-come, first-serve situation. Paternoville, named for Joe Paterno, got its name on national television in 2005 prior to a rivalry contest against Ohio State as students started camping out days before the game to ensure a good seat.
