Sergeant Moore and his guest, actress Kunis, attend 236th Marine Corps birthday ball

Way back in July, Sergeant Scott Moore — a Marine with a mission — put on a brave face and did something most men wouldn’t have the courage to do. He asked a Hollywood actress out on a date.

“Hey Mila.  It’s Sgt. Moore.  But you can call me Scott. I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina with yours truly,” Moore said in a YouTube invitation to Mila Kunis, star of Black Swan and Friends With Benefits. After being prodded into accepting by FWB co-star Justin Timberlake, Kunis accepted during an interview with Fox News. (Timberlake, who was later invited to another ball by a different Marine, accepted her invite and attended.)

Though it seemed like Kunis might have to bow out due to a scheduling conflict, the actress pulled through, showing up in Greenville, North Carolina on Friday to attend the Marine Corps Ball — on Sgt. Moore’s arm — that evening. NewsFeed is sure that Moore was delighted by Kunis’s presence, not to mention the rest of the Marines attending, but we’re still waiting for the actress’s thoughts on the evening. Don’t leave us hanging, Mila. After all, J.T. was quick to blog about his Marine Corps Ball experience. We think you should do him one better and post a YouTube account of your evening. As Timberlake once noted, “you need to do it for your country.”
