Maid of honor Pippa Middleton arrives at Westminster Abbey for the wedding ceremony of Prince William and her sister Kate Middleton in London

Let’s be realistic: you’re probably not going to become a princess. What’s one of the next best things? Wearing the dress that Kate Middleton’s sister Pippa wore to the biggest wedding of the year, that’s what.

And now your wish has been granted. That bridesmaid’s dress, which received a crazy amount of buzz back in April, has become available to buy on Net-a-Porter.com. For now, the — deep breath — Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen’s silk-crepe ivory gown is available on the U.K. version of the site (but non-U.K. shoppers can still call to reserve) for a not cheap £980, which works out at about $1,500 (that said, the original was thought to be in the region of £20,000, which is $31,000). As for the all important details, it’s pretty much exactly the same as what she wore, apart from a zipper (rather than buttons) at the back. But it only seems to be available in red, which is similar to what Cameron Diaz wore to the 67th Golden Globes.

The cost clearly isn’t an issue as the dress has already sold out. “Beautifully cut, elegant and timeless, Alexander McQueen’s silk-crepe gown will make an exquisite choice for your wedding day,” the website reads. “The signature accentuated shoulders and draped neckline are effortlessly flattering – style a clean silhouette with swept-back hair and drop earrings for radiant, understated appeal.” NewsFeed has no idea what that means but it sounds fabulous.

Pippa Middleton won a whole host of admirers after she appeared in the dress, which drew the eyes of the world to her derriere. Since the royal wedding, a “Pippa Middleton Ass Appreciation Society” has gained more than 241,000 followers on Facebook, with women reportedly asking plastic surgeons for a Pippa Butt Lift. If the wearing of the dress brings you unwarranted attention, you can’t say you weren’t warned. (via People)
