Plot: The promised Harry Potter sketch, where a middle-aged Harry returns to Hogwarts to find it just as he left it, was sub-par. But Daniel Radcliffe’s opening monologue was filled with some glorious Potter puns, along with a funny, confident Radcliffe on stage. He opined on begging Lorne Michaels not to write a skit about Dumbledore working at “Harry Pottery Barn,” and, let’s face it, “Jersey Shore Hogwarts” is downright scary. But maybe either of the two would have gone over better than the chosen sketch.
Best Line: “I just finished a run on Broadway… I played J. Pierrepont Finch in a role I’m almost certain people will always associate me with.”
