A Different Kind of Fashion Show. On the eve of New York Fashion Week’s official opening Thursday, several celebrities walked the red carpet in ruby dresses for the 10th annual Heart Truth fashion show, which raises awareness about heart disease among women. Among this year’s models: Gloria Estefan, Chaka Khan and Rebecca Romijn. [The Cut]

Marc Jacobs Salutes South Park. The designer created three t-shirts featuring the show’s characters Eric Cartman, Randy Marsh and Butters Stotch (all naked!), to be sold for New York University’s Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group. Jacobs appeared on a November South Park episode as “Muscle Man Marc.” [WWD]

739 and Counting. Television personality Joan Rivers, 78, says she’s received almost 800 plastic surgeries. “Every weekend I just go in and I do something new. I get a 10th one free. It’s a little like coffee; you just keep going,” she said. [Beauty High]
