Adele performs onstage at The 54th Annual Grammy Awards at Staples Center on February 12, 2012 in Los Angeles, California.

We’ve all wondered about Adele’s ex-boyfriend. Who is the man who ripped out her heart and squeezed out of it all those gorgeously heart-wrenching notes? Who is the inspiration behind her wildly successful sophomore album, 21? Well, someone (who is probably not him) has decided to come forward, explaining his side of the story with a new Twitter feed.

The parody includes the bio, “You’ve heard her side, now hear mine. I’m not a bad guy. I did what I had to do. TRUST ME.” The first tweet was posted Monday, and since then the feed has gained more than 3,000 followers.

His side of the story, it seems, mostly includes anecdotes about Adele’s bizarre behavior, to try to convince the world that she shares some of the blame for the infamous, if nebulous, breakup. So far, the jokester is tweeting at a rate of about once every hour.

The end result is hilarious, if grossly implausible. Here are some examples.

It’s nice that he’s had a chance to tell his side of the story, but NewsFeed still sides with Adele — especially if it means she makes more music.
