Successful identity theft requires a certain bit of stealth. That usually includes avoiding the use of famous names and faces – like, say, that of Jack Nicholson.

Brazilian police arrested a 41-year-old man in the northeast city of Recife after he attempted to open a bank account with fake ID picturing the 71-year-old Oscar-winning actor, CNN reports. Authorities had been tracking Ricardo Sergio Freire de Barros after several reports of fraudulent activity, according to police Chief Erivaldo Guerra.

The suspect allegedly opens bank accounts and credit cards under fake identities and then defaults on subsequent debts. Barros has been charged with use of false documents and falsification of a public document. Though he used one of Hollywood’s most famous faces, the impostor did mind to change the name on the ID to Joao Pedro dos Santos.
