“Gaining confidence, one 160-foot fall at a time.” That’s how Canada-based organization 9 Lives Adventures describes bungee jumping for the wheelchair-bound.

One jumper clearly agrees. Posting the video of her jump to to YouTube, the unidentified woman writes, “first and definitely not the last time going bungee jumping in whistler, BC – Thank you 9Lives Adventures for making this happen!”

On their blog, 9 Lives founder Karim Ladki explains wheelchairs keep jumpers upright and prevent blood from rushing to the head. Wheelchair-bound jumpers also have a special bungee cord that attaches to the chair’s axles.
