There’s always a timeless, morbid beauty when a building finally dies.

Bright and early on Sunday morning, the Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida was finally laid to rest — with the help of 600 pounds of dynamite. The Amway Arena has been home to the Orlando Magic since 1989. The team moved to the new Amway Center in October 2010.

Spectators gathered around in the brisk air to catch a last glimpse before the building was demolished in mere seconds.
