The technology-news website has ditched its usual blue color scheme for the opposite end of the spectrum: it’s gone bright orange for Conan O’Brien, who has apparently ousted Mashable CEO Pete Cashmore as the site’s head. The TV host notes that it was the Internet equivalent of a coup that led to his takeover. With a bit of yelling and screaming (and a paltry sum of $3,500), Conan now runs the site — for today, at least. He may not know as much about technology as Cashmore does, but at least he’s passionate about his new venture.
