Greek TV host Panagiotis Bourchas was hosting a party member from a Greek far-right political organization called Golden Dawn over the weekend. In retrospect, this wasn’t a smart move: protesters broke into the studio and assaulted Bourchas with eggs and yogurt.
That may seem a little extreme, until you take into account the organization Bourchas was talking to. Headed by Nikolaos Michaloliakos, Golden Dawn is an extremist group that promotes fascism and neo-Nazism within the country. Unsurprisingly, the group also invokes serious controversy — though NewsFeed is curious why Bourchas, not the extremist, was the yogurt target.
