Clothes. Startups. Movies. Home decor? Looks like Justin Timberlake may be getting a little domestic.
The singer-actor-former Mouseketeer recently unveiled HomeMint, a website that will sell objects and art for the home, through Twitter. With the help of his personal interior designer Estee Stanley, Timberlake will curate the items that go into the collection. Martha Stewart, you better watch out.
What kind of aesthetic is Timberlake going for? In an interview with Elle Decor, Timberlake made his preferences known:
I like very clean, almost modern architecture, and the obstacle with something like that is making it extremely warm, because it doesn’t naturally lend itself to that… [We want] to make pieces and rooms that are multifaceted, that blend different genres of architecture and design.
The collection won’t be available for sale until the beginning of May, but interested buyers can sign up for updates in the meantime.
