Jeezy’s 2008 album The Recession would be a no-brainer when it comes to Obama. Most likely track? “Put On,” for which Jeezy and Kanye West received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. If the President ever needed to remind people (or himself) of why he got into this political game in the first place, we’re guessing he’ll only have to rap a few bars of this ode to hometown pride, and the desire to save a city in decline. Maybe Obama’s version will be a remix, though: he’s putting on for a whole country, not just a city.
