Britain's Queen Elizabeth speaks to her husband Prince Philip on the Spirit of Chartwell during the Diamond Jubilee River Pageant on the River Thames.
In what may have helped send Prince Phillip, 90, to a London hospital with a bladder infection the following day, the Queen and her husband stood in 40-degree temperatures and a steady downpour for four hours during Sunday’s Thames River Pageant. During the event, 1,000 boats floated by the royal couple at about 4 knots per hour, while wind and rain pelted the pair. And they didn’t even take a seat, let alone a restroom break.
