Well if Corgi Rae Jepsen wasn’t enough for you, here’s another spoof on “Call Me, Maybe” – but with a twist. Just because Obama’s and Ted William’s rendition wasn’t enough already.
Two weeks ago, a Justin Bieber fan parodied Justin Bieber’s “Girlfriend” in a contest where female fans were encouraged to cover “Boyfriend” as “Girlfriend.” But her frankly unhinged version – with bugaboo eyes and unflinchingly stalker-ish lyrics – made the video a viral hit. Now, Overly Attached Girlfriend is back. And she has her sights set on Carly Rae Jepsen’s boy.

All the familiar trademarks that made “Girlfriend” a hit are back: the crazed, staring eyes, the amusingly creepy clinginess. She croons, oh-so reassuringly, “Remember you’re mine / You say you’re dating / I know you’re kidding / I’ll be waiting… we’re special, baby.”
Yeah… we’ll call you… maybe.
