If you think you’re tired of all the Call Me Maybe covers, you’re wrong. There’s room in your heart of at least one more.

The Star Wars mash-up is undeniable. And, credit where credit is due, this one must have taken an awfully long time. The creator, James Covenant, dug through and found clips from all six of the movies for the newest addition to annuals of Jepsendom, managing to both create a clever remix we haven’t seen before and actually find a legitimate creative use for Episodes I, II and III. (Hey George Lucas — call him maybe.)

A special award goes to the use of Luke Skywalker’s Episode 6 backflip during the musical breakdown, but Covenant loses a few points for the use of Jar Jar Binks.

Perhaps most importantly, this video might clinch the loyalty of the last ragtag demographic that hasn’t given in to Jepsen’s Death Star-like earworm: young, impressionable dudes. In the words of Admiral Ackbar, “It’s a trap!” Go ahead and give in boys, the rest of us have.
