Eyewitness Tweets from The Dark Knight Rises Shooting in Colorado

A gunman turned an Aurora, Colo. midnight premiere of the new film The Dark Knight Rises into a bloody rampage early Friday morning. The man, who was apprehended at the scene, had at least two guns with him and began shooting about a half-hour into the film.

At least 14 are dead and 50 are injured as a result of the shooting. The alleged shooter was apprehended at the scene and identified as James Holmes.

It appears that several moviegoers tweeted in the minutes after the massacre as they evacuated the theater; while it’s not possible to confirm any of the details in their accounts, here are some of the most dramatic tweets and photos from apparent eyewitnesses and reporters.

Hooters:"The suspect was dressed all in black, wearing a ballistic helmet,

tactical ballistic vest, ballistic leggings, a throat protector, groin

protector, gas mask and black tactical gloves." He was dressed like no other and didn't arouse suspicion.It was even reported that police stopped him and he "explained his dressing". Nobody also noticed when he exited the theater while the movie was playing using the emergency exit i.e no usher or security personnel prevented or accosted  him when he made for the exit thirty minutes into the movie.That's pretty odd. Worse still, nobody noticed when he was getting his weapons and getting ready for the carnage in the parking lot. That's pretty odd to. What happened?

 For someone who did something like this, I don't think he was too worried about that. I don't think he was worried about it when they took his mugshot either. He was smiling, albeit a crazy, joker smile. I don't think the fucker will worry about a thing anytime soon.
