Paramedics work at the scene of the shooting at the Century 16 movie theater in Aurora, Colo., early Friday morning July 20, 2012, where a gunman wearing a gas mask opened fire during a midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises".
A gunman turned an Aurora, Colo. midnight premiere of the new film The Dark Knight Rises into a bloody rampage early Friday morning. The man, who was apprehended at the scene, had at least two guns with him and began shooting about a half-hour into the film.
At least 14 are dead and 50 are injured as a result of the shooting. The alleged shooter was apprehended at the scene and identified as James Holmes.
