The day of Feb. 15th 1979.. Michael k. Barrett and Mark Rogers and myself went into Boston to the Army Navy store, that is where two six inch diving knives were purchased. One by Michael and one by Mark. Than we headed back to Dorchester. The three of us decided to go into Boston to the Sax theater to see the movie The Worriors. Before heading into Boston the guys wanted to purchase alcohol at the local liquor store, Black Brandy, Wiskey, large bottle of pepsi, I believe. On the train thay proceeded to drink the alcohol. Before interning the movie theater Mike poured out half of the soda and replaced it with alcohol, and the two guy proceeded to drink, I was sixteen and did not drink alcohol. We interred the theater and there was a gentleman at the door as we entered, he saw the liter of Pepsi and stopped Mike and told him he can not come in with outside food or drink, Mike twisted the cap off and said smell it, it's only Pepsi...The employee disregarded his first thought of not allowing him in with outside beverage and allowed him in with it. We watched the first showing of the movie which I believe Mike watched most of that showing, By the end of the movie MIke had passed out so Mark and I decided it would be best if he slept through a second showing of the same movie to sleep it off. During the second showing Mike threw up all over his scally cap in his seat. When the movie ended wee proceded

Hit enter sorry....The story continues... Out of the movie theater. When we had exit the theater Mike needed help walking, He went on the side of the theater and went pee, he was very drunk. Now we are heading home. Standing on the platform waiting for the train to come, I saw Marty come down the stairs, I happen to look up at the clock and it was nine fifty. Marty went over to some friend. Mike approached Marty and circled around him like a dog that was about to attack. Than Mike came back to where we were standing. WE all got on the train entering two differant

Doors. The groups stayed separated for the train ride, you could feel the tension. as we approached Fields Corner Station the doors opened and we all got off the train. Mark and I went through the turnstile I stop and said to Mark where is Mike, At that time neither one of us know where Mike was. we heard something and I looked up and Mike had climbed the turnstile and jumped off and which looked like a punch, hit Marty in the abdomen, Marty fell to the ground. At that time a fight broke out with a few of the group and Mark. With in minutes train station security/ police arrived. Mark and I ran together down the ramp, Mike was no where in sight. We ran to the bottom of Tondawanda Street where the police had Mike and thay took Mark into custody not knowing what had gone on. Marty passed the next morning. Three months later I was held in a home with a knife to my throat with someone pacing back and forth not knowing what he is going to do with me, all due to being a witness. this year it has been 34 years, not many days pass I don't think of Marty he also went to my school. I have been in and out of therapy due to this tragedy. PTSD ....Mark and Mike we're two best friends, not a gang... Ever...... I was there that night..it changed my life..Marty lost his life....His family lost there son... My following comment is :...The warriors movie had absolutely nothing to do with this murder, we could have seen SnowWhite....and it would have happened ... Mike strapped that knife to his ankle before he saw the movie ... Alcohol played a roll.... Marlessa
