But he’s still got a few fighting words to offer. In a video aimed at evangelical Christians, the martial artist turned internet meme had one message: Vote out Obama this November. The fate of America depends on it.
“If we look to history, our great country and freedom are under attack. We’re at a tipping point and, quite possibly, our country as we know it may be lost forever if we don’t change the course our country is headed,” Norris says grimly while standing in an American-flag adorned room.

Conservative politicking is nothing new for Norris, currently a columnist at the conservative news website World Net Daily. Never Obama’s No. 1 fan, Norris had previously endorsed Mike Huckabee in 2008 and campaigned for Newt Gingrich in 2012. Tellingly, as Entertainment Weekly noted, his new video paid no attention to Republican nominee Mitt Romney — a candidate the Invasion U.S.A. star previously dismissed as a “flip-flopping Massachusetts moderate” in one of his WND columns.
Norris’s new rallying cry instead is aimed at reenergizing the Republican base by reminding socially conservative evangelicals that plenty of them stayed home when faced with a choice between Obama and Sen. John McCain in 2008. “It is estimated that in the 2008 election, 30 million evangelical Christians stayed home on voting day and Obama won the election by 10 million votes,” reminds his wife, Gena Norris, in the video.
Norris, for the record, wasn’t particularly keen on McCain either: at one point he questioned the Arizona Senator’s fitness for office because of his old age.
