WATCH: Hero Pig Saves Baby Goat From Drowning

First there was Wilbur from Charlotte’s Web, then Miss Piggy, then Babe and even Homer Simpson’s “Spider Pig.”  Now there’s this adorable little porker.

A cute and quick-thinking piglet saved a baby goat from drowning in a pond in an unidentified petting zoo. The goat’s foot apparently became trapped underwater and the animal started to bleat for help (we’re guessing). While the human filming the endeavor stood there, the fearless swine, who was apparently on lifeguard duty, swam out to the trapped baby goat. One swift pig body slam and the goat was free. The animals then swam together to dry land. Score one for interspecies cooperation.

Move over, Wilbur. This is Some Pig.

Pigs are the third most intelligent creatures on earth. They have the ability to reason which is exactly what happened here.  And look how we treat them.

Too bad they're not intelligent enough to change their delicious flavor to something less appetizing =)

Awesome swine, but why didn't the idiot who filmed it do anything?
