Ribeiro, who played Will Smith’s pretentious cousin Carlton Banks on the 1990s sitcom, proposed to Unkrich in July, according to People.com. Ribeiro confirmed his marital bliss on Sunday, when he Tweeted, “Last night I got married to the most incredible woman in the world.” Unkrich, too, expressed her glee on Twitter after the ceremony, writing, “Just married the man of my dreams today…happiest day of my life!”
This is Ribeiro’s second marriage. He has a 9-year-old daughter with his ex-wife, Robin Stapler, People.com notes.
Since playing the dorky yet beloved Tom Jones enthusiast on Fresh Prince, Ribeiro has acted in such TV shows as Are We There Yet? and Things We Do for Love. In 2006, he won FOX’s short-lived singing contest, Celebrity Duets. He reignited the passions of Fresh Prince fans earlier this year when he helped orchestrate a Los Angeles flash mob based on his character’s famous arm-swinging jig. One can only imagine the moves he busted out at his own wedding reception.
