Beloved “Weekend Update” city correspondent Stefon (played by the effervescent Bill Hader) returned after what felt like a decade-long hiatus to provide the segment’s host, Seth Meyers, with advice on how to celebrate Halloween in New York City. As usual, the flamboyant hipster gave obscure and gloriously bizarre recommendations, and even threw in a signature midget reference. “Sorry, not midget,” he says, when Meyers encourages him to use a more politically correct term, “Fun-size.” And in another grand tradition of Stefon-centric sketches, Hader breaks character, erupting into a fit of poorly-hidden giggles. Stefon is back, everybody, and all is right in the universe.
