First there was music, then perfume, now comes bottled water. It’s all in a day’s work for Lady Gaga.

The pop singer is apparently expanding her Little Monsters empire to include a “healthy drinking water brand.” While some sources, such as OK Magazine, cite a series of unflattering photos of Lady Gaga as the inspiration for the bottled water, her alleged weight gain might actually be a part of her business marketing plan. “Gaga has been at the center of a lot of attention over her weight increase,” an anonymous source told the New York Daily News. “Losing her weight in such a short time and launching a healthy water drink may be part of a plan.”

While the bottled water’s marketing plan may already be underway, the bottle design is completely under wraps. “We know that the water drink is due out in the near future,” the insider told the Daily News. “No one has seen prototypes of the bottle.” Based on Lady Gaga’s previous forays into product design, fans of the “Pokerface” singer can expect something outlandish. The star’s Fame perfume, unveiled last month, featured a miniature Gaga inside the glass bottle, with fingerholes so fans could reach in and prod the singer’s miniaturized form. Similarly her line of Christmas items for high-end retailer Barney’s featured 220 Lady Gaga-themed gifts, including an egg spin toy, flame press-on nails, spiked motorcycle gloves and a Lady Gaga face cookie.
