Disks, tamagotchis, 56k modems and more importantly, the Oregon Trail – Microsoft sure knows how us to get us reminiscing.

The software company has debuted a new Internet Explorer ad that might be tugging on your heart strings just a little bit, especially if you grew up during the 90s. In an Instagram-less world, actually eating your Lunchables instead of photographing it remained supreme.

The ad, which is clearly aimed at Gen Y-ers between the ages of 20 and 35, invokes some super serious nostalgia between the demographic most likely to use other browsers. It’s all part of Microsoft’s newest campaign over “the brower you love to hate.”

While Microsoft has us yearning for simpler times, it’s still hard to see us ditching Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox in favor of Internet Explorer just yet. But, still, it is a really great ad.
