This week’s Weekend Update segment included a visit from the Baltimore Ravens’ Ray Lewis (played by Kenan Thompson), who will retire from football following the upcoming Super Bowl. Thompson captured the linebacker’s erratic energy and his penchant for frequent references to religion and tearful discourse. During the interview, host Seth Meyers was a bit more taciturn than usual, mostly just letting Lewis ramble (and offering the occasional giggle.) But the highlight, by far, came at the end of the segment when Thompson stood up to perform his best Ray Lewis dance before tumbling off-camera.

I was so happy to see that there are still going to be Digital Shorts from The Lonely Island on SNL, and I was also really happy to see someone take on the insufferable YOLO craze.The “You oughta look out” spin was genius, and I definitely like this one as much as some of the older Digital Shorts.I was talking to a coworker during my shift at DISH today who already had it on his iPod, and after hearing it again I am sure that this will be another hit for them.I missed the show because I was out with the boys, but fortunately I was able to watch it on my way home.I love how the DISH Remote Access App lets me watch programs from my DVR on my iPad because it really makes those long train rides fly by.I am glad thatI caught it because it was actually a really good show, and I was a bit afraid of how the second half of this season would be after that first episode back.
