Randi Zuckerberg, Mark Zuckerberg’s older sister, is done with Facebook. Now she’s moving on to books.

Randi Zuckerberg, Mark Zuckerberg’s older sister, is done with Facebook. Now she’s moving on to writing.

Zuckerberg announced last week that she’s dipping a toe in old media, with a new two-book deal in conjunction with HarperCollins. While both books will cover different topics (and one might even be a children’s book), her debut is all about Zuckerberg’s own adventures at Facebook.

The book, entitled Dot Complicated, will revolve around her own experiences with her brother’s company as its marketing director. In a press statement, Zuckerberg writes:

I am thrilled to be working with HarperCollins to share some of my own crazy experiences on the front lines of social media and to inspire people of all ages to embrace technology, as well as the new set of social norms that come along with.

The elder Zuckerberg has long held an involved role in Facebook. She was one of the company’s first 25 employees and ran its marketing department until she left in 2011.
